ClearSafeTM

What is ClearSafeTM
ClearSafeTM is a glass coating system. It is a treatment process designed for the glass surfaces of your car windscreen, house windows, office facade, etc., to yield clearer & brighter vision and easier to clean surfaces. In addition, it also helps prevent corrosion on glass surfaces.

Here is a short video that show how ClearSafeTM is effective in extreme situations.

How does ClearSafeTM work?
ClearSafeTM treated surfaces becomes extremely hydrophobic and oliophobic. In other words, water and oil is repelled by the coated surfaces. Water can no longer cling on to the glass distorting the vision. But rather, water is "pushed" into forming round droplets. These rounds water droplets would easily roll off or be blown off by the head-wind when the car is moving forward.

Detail Explanation
Though a glass surface is always perceived as smooth, but under a microscope, a typical glass surface is made up of rough ridges. These rough ridges provides anchorage for water and oil to hold on to. Thus resulting in water and oil clinging to the surface. ClearSafeTM uses a proprietary solution that coats all these rough ridges making them very much smoother. This coating effectively removes the anchorage for water and oil to cling on to. Water is thus being "pushed" into forming round droplets. With the reduction in the overall coefficient of friction, these water droplets can easily roll off the surfaces. When a car is moving forward, the head-wind would be sufficient to push off the water droplets. All these factors working together gives the driver a clearer vision, especially when driving in the rain.
